H-Shield HD is a 1/2 inch high-density polyisocyanurate cover board manufactured on-line to premium performance coated glass facers on both sides, with a 4 pound per cubic foot foam core and an R-value of 2.5. The technical data sheet prints a weight of 11 pounds per 4 by 8 foot panel, ReadyFlash light and dark facers, and a UL 790 Class A combustible deck assembly rating (a rating of the roof assembly) at 1/2 inch thickness without a fire-rated slip sheet or fire barrier, with insulation joints staggered at least 12 inches from deck joints and a 1:12 maximum roof slope. The product page lists ASTM C 1289 Type II, Class 4, Grade 1 (109 psi), UL Classified 790, UL Class A, ASTM E 108, FM Approved 1-75, Miami-Dade County Product Control approval, Florida Product Approval FL 5968 and California Title 24 license TI-1420.
