H-Shield HD-MA is a polyisocyanurate cover board bonded on each side to a glass reinforced facer, designed for use only as a cover board in mechanically fastened single-ply systems, with an R-value of 2.5. The product page lists ASTM C 1289, Type II, Class 1, Grade 3 (25 psi), IBC Section 2603, UL Standard 790, 263 and 1256 as a component of Class A roof systems, FM Standards 4450/4470 Class 1 approval for steel roof-deck constructions, California Title 24 license TI-1418, the PIMA Quality Mark for long-term thermal resistance values and CAN/ULC 5704 Type 2 and 3, Class 3. The maker's copy gives three different strength figures: the product page body says a compressive strength of 80 psi, the same page's compliance list says Grade 3 (25 psi), and the technical data sheet says a maximum compressive strength of 109 psi.
