Pro-Grade 988 is a 100 percent silicone, high-solids, solvent-free, one-component, moisture-curing silicone rubber roof coating for existing smooth asphaltic BUR, cap sheet, single-ply membranes, metal and spray polyurethane foam, which the maker says can be applied in excess of 50 mils in a single coat and is permanently resistant to ponding water. Its technical data sheet reports 92 percent solids by volume, 280 percent elongation and 320 psi tensile strength (ASTM D412), a Class A flame spread rating under ASTM E108/UL790, an initial SRI of 110 and a three-year aged SRI of 106 for white, CRRC product ID 0620-0053, Florida Product Approval FL10889-R3, Miami-Dade NOA 23-0316.02 and FM approval, and states it meets or exceeds ASTM D6694.
