MegaLoc is a 2 in. mechanically seamed standing seam panel, field seamed with rented seaming equipment and typically used on commercial projects and metal buildings. It gives 16 to 18 in. net coverage in 24 gauge steel or 0.032 and 0.040 in. aluminum including the OceanGuard coastal aluminum series, in flat, mini rib or striated relief, over 22 gauge minimum steel decking or 16 gauge minimum steel purlins, at a minimum slope of 2:12. The product page lists ASTM E1646 and ASTM E1680 testing, Miami- Dade NOAs 24-0910.05 and 24-0910.04, and Florida Product Approvals FL34538.04-R3 (HVHZ) and FL33818.04-R5 (non-HVHZ), and states that a weathertightness warranty is available. Gulf Coast's published UL statement says the fire classification under ASTM E108 and UL 790 is set by the complete roof assembly, including substrate and underlayment or barrier, and not by the panels alone.
