GulfRib

GulfRib is an exposed-fastener ribbed metal roof panel first used on agricultural buildings and now on residential and light commercial roofs. It gives 36 in. net coverage in 29, 26 and 24 gauge steel over 15/32 in. minimum plywood, 7/16 in. minimum OSB, 1x4 SYP purlins on plywood or OSB, or 20 gauge minimum steel hats, at a minimum slope of 3:12. The product page lists Miami-Dade NOA 24-0910.02 for 26 gauge GulfRib over 15/32 in. plywood and Florida Product Approvals FL34538.05-R3 (HVHZ) and FL33818.05-R5 (non-HVHZ). Gulf Coast's published UL statement says the fire classification under ASTM E108 and UL 790 is set by the complete roof assembly, including substrate and underlayment or barrier, and not by the panels alone.
