5V Crimp

5V Crimp is an exposed-fastener metal roof panel with double ribs at the panel edges that conceal an anti-siphon channel, used mainly on residential roofs and also on light commercial work. It gives 24 in. net coverage in 26 and 24 gauge steel or 0.032 in. aluminum, in flat, mini rib or striated relief, over 15/32 in. minimum plywood or 1x4 SYP purlins on plywood, at a minimum slope of 3:12. The product page lists Miami-Dade NOA 24-0429.02 and Florida Product Approvals FL34538.08-R3 (HVHZ) and FL33818.08-R5 (non-HVHZ). Gulf Coast's published UL statement says the fire classification under ASTM E108 and UL 790 is set by the complete roof assembly, including substrate and underlayment or barrier, and not by the panels alone.
