R Panel (PBR) is an exposed-fastener steel roof and siding panel with four 1.25 inch high ribs spaced 12 inches on centre, 36 inch coverage and a purlin bearing rib, manufactured custom cut to the inch in lengths from 3 to 45 feet. The panel has a 5-degree overbend on the overlap and an anti-siphon groove on the underlap. It is offered in 26 gauge (0.85 lb per square foot) and 24 gauge (1.08 lb per square foot), and Green Tree Metals states a minimum roof slope of 1:12 with sealant. Painted panels carry a lifetime film integrity warranty and a 30-year chalk/fade warranty, and unpainted Galvalume carries a 30-year warranty, per Green Tree Metals; the painted finish is baked enamel over primer and Galvalume.
