Phantom is a solvent-based metal roof sealant in six translucent tints that let the panel colour show through, for sealing metal roof seams and through-roof projections. Its product data sheet lists adhesion to PVDF, SMP and polyester-coated steel including Kynar 500, asphalt shingles, modified bitumen and vinyl, 585 percent elongation (ASTM D412), a 120-minute tack-free time and an 18-month shelf life, and says it applies when damp and is paintable. It comes in 10.3 fl. oz. cartridges in translucent white, gray, bronze, green, red and blue.
