Products / 4500 Roof Bonding Sealant

4500 is a one-component hybrid roof bonding sealant that the maker says withstands ponding water quickly and serves as both an EPDM lap adhesive and a scrim edge sealant, as well as sealing around through-roof projections, terminations and flashings. Its product data sheet lists adhesion to asphalt shingles, concrete, steel, EPDM, metal and wood, and requires a primer on TPO and PVC membranes (the product page names 45P TPO & PVC Primer). It comes in white and black cartridges, and the data sheet warns against using black on white EPDM or white on black EPDM.
