GenFlex SBS FR SA Base is a self-adhered SBS modified bitumen base ply with fire-retardant additives and a reinforced fiberglass mat, for low-slope roofing. It is 80 mil thick, with 200 sq ft (2 squares) net coverage per roll, and meets or exceeds ASTM D6163 Type I Grade S. It is applied by removing the release film over approved insulation, GenFlex film-surfaced base sheets and certain deck types, with concrete decks primed with ASTM D41 primer, then rolled with a 75 lb minimum roller.
