GenFlex SBS FR Cap is a fire-retardant SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) modified bitumen cap sheet, reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat enhanced with continuous fiberglass yarns, designed as the top layer of an SBS modified bitumen system for new construction and reroofing. It is installed in hot asphalt or GenFlex's Multi-Purpose MB Cold Adhesive. The product data sheet (PDS 507) states it meets or exceeds ASTM D6164 Type I, Grade G, and lists an initial SRI of 33 for the standard white membrane.
