GenFlex SBS Base is an SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) modified bitumen base sheet reinforced with a non-woven fiberglass mat, designed as the base layer of an SBS modified bitumen system for both new construction and reroofing. It is installed in hot asphalt or GenFlex's Multi-Purpose MB Cold Adhesive. The product data sheet (PDS 501) states it meets or exceeds ASTM D6163 Type I, Grade S, and lists a manufacturing location of Beech Grove, Indiana.
