MB Base Sheet is an asphalt impregnated and coated base sheet with a glass fiber mat reinforcement, for use as a base ply in SBS and APP modified bitumen and built-up roofing systems. It is installed with GenFlex fasteners and insulation plates, hot asphalt, or GenFlex MB Cold Adhesive. Rolls are 3 ft 3 in by 98 ft 8 in (about 300 sq ft, 3 squares). The data sheet states it meets ASTM D4601 Type II, meets the criteria for a UL G-2 base sheet, and is approved for use in FM tested roofing assemblies.
