GenFlex CG ISO is a flat and tapered polyiso roof insulation board with a closed-cell foam core laminated to a coated, inorganic fiberglass facer, for single-ply and modified bitumen roofing. It is offered in 4 ft x 4 ft and 4 ft x 8 ft boards from 1 in thick, with 20 psi compressive strength standard and 25 psi on request up to 2.9 in. The data sheet lists ASTM C1289 Type II Class 2, mold resistance per ASTM D3273, UL Classified and FM Class 1 Approved. GenFlex states a Class A fire rating over combustible decks at 1 in thickness, as part of the assembly. It is installed with GenFlex fasteners and plates or approved insulation adhesives, and not with hot asphalt.
