GenFlex APP 180 Cool is a granule-surfaced APP (atactic polypropylene) modified bitumen cap sheet reinforced with a fiberglass-reinforced nonwoven polyester mat made with recycled PET fibers. It is installed fully adhered with GenFlex Multi-Purpose MB Cold Adhesive rather than by torch, as a cap sheet or flashing sheet in single- or multi-ply APP systems. The product data sheet (PDS 407) states it meets or exceeds ASTM D6222 Type I, Grade G. It is offered in white and black granule surfaces in 39 in by 32 ft 10 in rolls; the data sheet gives an initial SRI of 33 for the white membrane.
