GenFlex APP 160 is a smooth-surfaced APP (atactic polypropylene) modified bitumen membrane designed to be heat-welded, reinforced with a fiberglass-reinforced non-woven polyester mat made with 100 percent recycled PET fibers. It is used as a base ply, inter-ply, flashing sheet, or cap sheet when given protective surfacing, in single or multi-ply APP applications. The product data sheet (PDS 401) lists a typical thickness of 154 mil (140 mil minimum).
