Ultra-Tuff 2800

Ultra-Tuff 2800 is a 100 percent solids, fast-set, two-component aromatic polyurea base coat used as a membrane covering for spray polyurethane foam roofing, for roof restoration, cold storage and metal, and as a vapor retarder. It must be top coated within six hours with an aliphatic polyurethane, silicone or acrylic coating for fire classification; the TDS gives 35 to 50 dry mils as a Class II vapor retarder and at least 80 dry mils as a Class I vapor retarder. It comes in light gray or tan in 10-gallon and 110-gallon two-component kits, and the line includes Ultra-Tuff 2800-FR, a version with its own TDS. The Ultra-Tuff 2800 TDS lists a UL 790 Class A classification as a component of roof deck assemblies, and the maker's FM-approved Ultra-Thane 230 HFO FM assemblies include an Ultra-Tuff 2800 coating system.
