Ultra-Tuff 2500 is a 100 percent solids, fast-set, two-component aromatic urethane elastomeric base coat used as a membrane covering for spray polyurethane foam roofing, for roof restoration and as a seam treatment over metal decks. It must be top coated within six hours with an aliphatic polyurethane, silicone or acrylic coating for fire classification; the TDS gives 35 to 50 dry mils as a Class II vapor retarder and 45 to 60 dry mils as a seam sealer. It is blue and sold in 10-gallon and 110-gallon two-component kits. The TDS lists a UL 790 Class A classification as a component of roof deck assemblies.
