Ultra-Thane 230 HFO Roofing is a closed-cell, two-component, spray-in-place rigid polyurethane roofing foam blown with low-GWP hydrofluoroolefin (HFO), used for new roofs, roof recovers and cold storage roofing under a UV-protective roof coating. It is formulated in 2.5, 2.7 and 3.0 pcf densities in winter, regular and summer reactivity grades and sold in 1,000 lb two-component drum kits; the TDS lists an aged R-value of 6.9 at 1 inch (ASTM C518) and FM 4470 wind uplift above I-450. A separate 3.0 pcf Ultra-Thane 230 HFO FM Roofing version carries FM approval in four assemblies with Ultra-Flex 1000, Ultra-Flex 1000 HT, Ultra-Guard 5700 and Ultra-Tuff 2800 coating systems and lists Intertek CCRR-1026. The TDS lists ASTM E108 Class A and Class B roof-covering classifications for new construction and for maintenance and repair, depending on the system, and a UL listing under File 14330.
