Ultra-Flex 1000 is a high-solids, single-component waterborne acrylic elastomeric roof coating used as a top coat over polyurethane roof foam, as an acrylic recoat and over a polyurethane base coat; over foam it is applied at a minimum of 24 dry mils in two coats. It comes in white, off white, light gray, light tan and medium gray in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums and 250-gallon totes; the line also includes Ultra-Flex 1000 HT, a high-tensile version, and Ultra-Flex 1000 Butter Grade, a trowel-grade acrylic mastic in 3.5-gallon pails for seams, penetrations and terminations with polyester fabric. The TDS states the coating meets ASTM D6083 and Title 24, is evaluated in ICC-ES ESR-3239 and Intertek CCRR-1026, is listed by the California State Fire Marshal, carries CRRC rated product ID 0684-0002 (initial solar reflectance 84.4, weathered 67.0) and is classified Class A under UL 790 as a component of roof deck assemblies in UL File 14330. The maker's acrylic coatings page states Ultra-Flex coatings are Class B over combustible decks and Class A over non-combustible decks.
