Ultra-Bond 40 is a white, water-based, rust-inhibitive acrylic metal primer for steel surfaces, for use with Ultra-Flex acrylic, Ultra-Guard silicone and Ultra-Thane roof foam systems; recommended substrates are blasted steel and ferrous, galvanized and non-ferrous metals, and the Ultra-Thane 230 HFO FM and 250 HFO roofing foam TDSs call for it on galvanized and stainless steel. It comes in 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums. Ultra-Bond 40 AB is an adhesion-boosting additive in 1-quart cans and 2-gallon pails, mixed into Ultra-Bond 40 for stainless steel before spray foam.
