Products / Gardner Sta-Kool White Elastomeric Roof Coating

Gardner Sta-Kool is a white acrylic elastomeric roof coating offered in three grades, each with its own data sheet: Sta-Kool 750 (5YR, SK-7505 5 gallon), Sta-Kool 770 (7YR, SK-7705 5 gallon and SK-7701 1 gallon) and the silicone-enhanced Sta-Kool+ 780 Pro White (10YR, SK-7805 5 gallon and SK-7801 1 gallon). The data sheets carry limited warranties against material defects of five, seven and ten years respectively and call for aluminum, asphalt or tar coated surfaces to cure for one summer season before coating. The 750 data sheet gives a coverage of approximately 50 to 75 square feet per gallon and states it should not be applied where ponding water will exist, the 770 and 780 data sheets state that color tinting voids the warranty, and the 780 data sheet lists Miami-Dade County Product Control approval.
