Gardner Silver Dollar is a fiber-reinforced aluminum roof coating that forms a bright silver reflective finish to weatherproof a roof and lower heat gain, applied by brush or medium-nap roller at 55 to 70 square feet per gallon. Its technical data sheet states it is not recommended for wood, asphalt shingles or roofs with slopes under 1/8 inch per foot, warns that standing water dulls aluminum and may cause adhesion failure, and provides a three-year replacement warranty against defective product.
