Black Jack Rubr-Seal (product 6148) is a rubberized roof and flashing cement for year-round repair of cracks, seams and holes, for setting flashings, drip edges and roof edges, and for repairs and installation of modified bitumen membranes and laminated shingles; the data sheet also lists below-grade waterproofing and dampproofing. Its technical data sheet gives a coverage of approximately 12 square feet per gallon at 1/8 inch and states it is not for single-ply or synthetic roofs. It is sold in a 10-ounce tube and 1-gallon and 2.75-gallon pails, and the data sheet carries a 15-year limited warranty against material defects.
