APOC asphalt emulsion is a water-based, solvent-free, UL-rated roof coating for built-up, mineral-surfaced, metal, concrete and corrugated roofs and polyester- reinforced roofing systems, also used for dampproofing and as an anti-corrosive coating. It is offered as APOC 300 Non-Fibered, which its data sheet says meets ASTM D1227 Type III and ICC ESR-3796, and as APOC 302 Pro-Gard Fibered, which its data sheet says meets ASTM D1227 Type II Class 1. Both data sheets state it bonds to damp or dry surfaces and will not harm insulation boards.
