APOC 290 Secure Prime is a resin-based primer applied to wood decks, metal, gypsum, existing roof membranes and aged concrete to improve adhesion of self-adhered membranes, and before coatings over porous or hard-to-bond surfaces. Its technical data sheet gives a coverage of approximately 1 gallon per 300 to 400 square feet, a dry film of 1 to 1.5 mils, application by roller or airless sprayer, and a VOC below 20 g/L. It is sold in 1-gallon and 3.5-gallon containers and 55-gallon drums, and the data sheet carries a one-year limited warranty against material defects.
