Seal-A-Ridge Ridge Cap Shingles are GAF's cost-effective 12 in. (305 mm) wide, machine-cut hip and ridge caps, designed to complement the color of GAF shingles and sold as a cleaner, less labor-intensive alternative to cutting up 3-tab shingles. Dura Grip self-seal adhesive seals each piece to reduce blow-off risk, and packages bearing the StainGuard Plus logo carry a 25-year algae protection limited warranty. GAF prints a UL 2218 Class 3 impact-resistance rating, limited to product sold in packages bearing the Class 3 classification statement, and says the product can be used to comply with certain FORTIFIED Roof requirements in the U.S. It is eligible for up to a Lifetime limited warranty when installed on GAF Lifetime Shingle roofs with qualifying accessories, and the page lists a Miami-Dade document numbered 22-0628.02 covering Seal-A-Ridge and Timbertex. GAF states it is made in the U.S.A. with domestic and imported materials.
