The Master Flow SSB960 is GAF's metal super slant-back static roof louver, used to exhaust attic heat and moisture on roofs with limited ridge line or to replace existing louvers, with a slant-back shape GAF says protects against weather infiltration especially on steep slopes. Each vent provides 60 sq. in. of net free area, which GAF compares with typical 50 sq. in. vents, and GAF says it passes the 110 mph wind-driven rain test per TAS 100(A) under controlled laboratory testing. It comes in aluminum or galvanized construction in several colors, and select models carry an internal weather and ember-resistant screen that GAF says meets the prescriptive requirements of the 2024 International Wildland-Urban Interface Code and the 2025 California Wildland-Urban Interface Code (with a note to check with the authority having jurisdiction).
