The Master Flow IR65 is a static plastic slant-back roof louver that GAF calls its best plastic slant-back model, with a built-in screen, a snap-in hood and UV-resistant polymer construction. GAF says the slant-back design helps protect against weather infiltration, especially on steep slopes, and its extra-large flashing has pre-punched nail holes. Each vent provides 65 sq. in. of net free area, which GAF compares with typical 50 sq. in. vents. It comes in four colors, is an eligible accessory in the attic ventilation category of GAF's enhanced and WindProven limited warranties, and the page lists a code document titled "Master Flow Louver Vents RV-61." GAF notes that exhaust ventilation should never exceed intake ventilation.
