The Master Flow High-Capacity Dome Vent is a static galvanized-steel dome roof vent with an insect screen, aimed at attics that need large amounts of exhaust, especially those with limited ridge area. Each vent provides 144 sq. in. of net free area and installs like a typical roof vent with no electrical hook-up. GAF says it helps protect against wind-driven rain and passed impact testing modeled after the UL 2218 Class 4 test in a lab, while stating the product is not listed or classified for impact resistance by any testing agency and that hail damage is not covered.
