The dual-powered model (PRHYBRID2) of the Master Flow GreenMachine High-Power Solar Roof Vent is a low-profile roof-mounted attic exhaust fan with an integral solar panel that switches automatically between solar and house power, so it keeps running in cloudy weather and at night, and it includes thermostat control. GAF rates it at up to 750 CFM (21.24 cubic meters per minute) on solar power and up to 900 CFM (25.5 cubic meters per minute) on house power, based on its own ASHRAE/ANSI standard airflow testing, and says the solar panel meets UL 1703 for solar panel impact resistance. It is eligible for GAF enhanced warranty coverage when installed by a GAF-certified contractor as part of a qualifying system.
