Cobra SnowCountry Advanced is GAF's premium filtered, shingle-over ridge vent for harsh winter climates, with a Snow Guard filter that helps resist snow, insect and pine needle infiltration and external baffles that help deflect wind and rain. GAF prints 18 sq. in. of net free ventilating area per linear foot, an extra-flexible hinge for roof slopes from 3:12 to 16:12, EasyTear sizing in 3 in. (76 mm) increments, and included 3 in. (76 mm) ring shank nails. It comes in 11.5 in. (292 mm) and 9 in. (229 mm) widths for 12 in. and 10 in. ridge cap shingles respectively. It can be used to comply with certain FORTIFIED Roof requirements in the U.S. and is eligible for up to a Lifetime limited warranty when installed on GAF Lifetime Shingle roofs with qualifying accessories.
