Cobra IntakePro Rooftop Intake Vent is GAF's roof-mounted intake vent for homes with little or no soffit, clogged or closed under-eave vents, or vented roof decks, supplying intake air at the roof instead of through costly soffit alterations. It is a tapered, shingle-over, fully nail-gunnable roll that installs with the included 1 3/4 in. (44.4 mm) coil nails, and GAF says its crush-resistant design helps guard against wind-driven rain, snow and ice dam infiltration under GAF's own controlled laboratory testing; the page also links a third-party lab simulated ice dam test report. It can be used to comply with certain FORTIFIED Roof requirements in the U.S. and is eligible for up to a Lifetime limited warranty when installed on GAF Lifetime Shingle roofs with qualifying accessories.
