GacoPrime Low VOC Primer is a single-component, solvent-based primer that promotes adhesion of GacoFlex roof coatings to approved smooth substrates, including single-ply membranes, existing urethane and acrylic coatings, and metal roofs. The product data sheet states it meets SCAQMD requirements with a VOC content under 250 g/L, is light red, and must be top coated within 24 hours. It is not intended for asphalt, concrete, or other rough or porous substrates.
