GacoPoly U8782 (GacoFlex U8782 on its data sheet) is a low-viscosity, fast-curing, two-component, fire-retarded polyurea hybrid waterproofing elastomer, 100 percent solids with zero VOC, sprayed with plural-component airless equipment up to 64 mils in one pass. The maker recommends it as a high-build protective coating over polyurethane foam insulation and metal roofing, and publishes roof specifications for it over spray polyurethane foam and, with a silicone top coat, over asphalt. Its product data sheet lists Cool Roof Council approval, ASTM E108 Class A flammability, an initial solar reflectance index of 64.80 (49.58 aged), and 2200 psi tensile strength with 225 percent elongation under ASTM D412. It may also serve as a base coat with granules on vehicular and pedestrian decks.
