GacoFlex Polyurethane 300 Aromatic Base Coat is a single-component, moisture-cure polyurethane coating that, with GacoFlex Polyurethane 300 Aliphatic Finish Coat over it, forms a waterproofing roof coating restoration system. It is light gray, about 70 percent solids by volume, and applied by brush, roller or airless spray at 1.0 to 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet per coat; one gallon per 100 square feet yields about 11 mils dry. Its product data sheet reports 400 percent elongation and 400 to 600 psi tensile strength under ASTM D412. Single-ply membranes require GacoPrime LVOC Primer first, and asphalt substrates require one of the named Gaco primers.
