Mechanical Loc is a mechanically seamed standing seam steel roof panel installed with a concealed fixed or floating clip system, with 12-1/8 to 16 inch coverage and 1-1/2 or 2 inch seam heights, in lengths up to 50 feet. It is 24 gauge, with minor ribs or striations, and requires a seamer tool. Minimum slopes are 1.5/12 for the 1-1/2 inch seam and 3/4:12 for the 2 inch seam, over at least 5/8 inch plywood; Forma Steel recommends a peel-and-stick membrane below 3/12.
