A glass-reinforced SBS modified bitumen base sheet, sanded on both surfaces, for use as the base or first ply in Flex modified bitumen roofing systems or multi-ply thermoplastic roofing systems. It is 80 mil (2.0 mm) thick, sold in rolls 39 3/8 inches wide by 49.2 feet long, and is mopped in hot asphalt, nailed or cold adhered. The data sheet says it is not designed for permanent exposure and is to be covered with Flex SBS Granulated Cap Sheet, and that its properties were tested in accordance with ASTM D5147.
