The fleece-backed Flex PVC membrane: a polyester-reinforced PVC sheet with a 5.50 oz. polyester fleece backing that acts as a separation or cushioning layer on re-roofs and can go directly over most substrates in adhered and mechanically attached systems. Flex publishes fleece-back PVC data sheets at 50, 60, 72 and 80 mil; the 60 mil minimum sheet lists a 120 inch width, white, tan or gray, an SRI of 109 in white, says it exceeds ASTM D4434, that an adhered system meets Factory Mutual wind uplift requirements up to FM Class 1-735 on a structural deck, and that it is used in systems meeting an Underwriters Laboratories Class A fire rating.
