60 mil FiberTite-XTreme FB is the fleece-backed version of Seaman Corporation's FiberTite-XTreme KEE roof membrane, which its data sheet calls the most intense thermoplastic membrane available. It is a minimum 60-mil (1.5 mm), 57-oz per square yard sheet built on a 46 x 44 / 1,000 x 1,000 denier woven polyester fabric (the 50 mil FiberTite-XT line uses an 18 x 18 / 1,100 x 1,300 denier knit), coated with a hybrid vinyl alloy that uses DuPont's Elvaloy KEE as the principal polymer. A 4-oz non-woven polyester felt is heat bonded to the back with a 3-inch selvedge for hot-air field welding, and it ships in 72-inch by 80-foot rolls. The sheet can be mechanically fastened with FiberTite Magnum fasteners and stress plates, adhered in FTR-290, FTR-390, FTR-490 or FTR CR-20 adhesives or hot asphalt, or ballasted with stone or pavers. The data sheet lists Off White, White, CR Gray and CR Tan colors.
