FTR SBS Poly SA is a self-adhered SBS-modified bitumen base sheet reinforced with a nonwoven polyester mat, with a sanded top surface and a high-tack adhesive underside under a release film. The data sheet gives a thickness of 106 mils (2.3 mm) and 39.4-inch by 49.2-foot rolls covering 147.6 square feet, and states it meets or exceeds ASTM D6164 Type I, Grade S. It is used as an air and vapor barrier, a temporary roof, or a base layer in FiberTite hybrid roof systems, and is listed by Underwriters Laboratories for use in Class A roof assemblies.
