FTR SBS Poly 3.7 is an SBS-modified bitumen base sheet with a nonwoven polyester mat impregnated and coated with non-oxidized asphalt blended with SBS polymer, sanded on both faces. The data sheet gives a thickness of 148 mils (3.7 mm) and 39-3/8-inch by 32-foot-10-inch rolls covering one square, and states it meets or exceeds ASTM D6164 Grade S, Type I. It is used as an air and vapor barrier or a multi-ply asphalt base layer in FiberTite hybrid roof systems and is listed by Underwriters Laboratories for use in Class A roof assemblies.
