A non-opening roof window whose sash is screwed into the frame, which allows a larger glazing unit and installation low above the floor. The frame is pressure-treated pine with two coats of clear acrylic lacquer, installed on brackets on roof pitches from 15 degrees (4/12) to vertical, in 22 x 39, 31 x 47 and 31 x 56 in. sizes. The FNP P5G has Low-E tempered-over-laminated triple glazing with krypton and a warm spacer; FAKRO's specification lists a U-factor of 0.18 BTU/hft2F, SHGC 0.2, visible transmittance 0.34, air leakage class 4, water penetration resistance class E900 and wind load class C5 under EN 14351-1, and the product page also shows U5 and P5 glazing versions. The specification pairs it with EHV-AT, ELV-T and EBV-P flashings. Standard glazing units are limited to installations up to 3,000 ft above sea level. FAKRO America's limited warranty covers roof windows for 10 years against defects in material and workmanship and laminated glass against hail for 20 years.
