Stand 'N Seam is a mechanically seamed structural standing seam roof system with double-locked side joints, factory-applied sealant and a one-piece stainless steel clip for controlled thermal movement; panels can be curved and field-formed so they span a roof without end laps. The commercial product listing prints .032 and .040 inch aluminum, 22 and 24 gauge steel and copper substrates, a 1/2:12 minimum roof slope, panel lengths from 6 to 47 feet, Hail Resistance UL2218, Class 4 and Fire Resistance UL790, Class A. Its brief specification sheet prints air infiltration to ASTM E1680 and ASTM E283, water penetration to ASTM E1646, ASTM E331 and ASTM E2140, wind uplift to ASTM E1592 and UL580 Class 90, field forming up to 300 feet for the 16 inch panel, and a 30-year paint-finish warranty. Fabral describes it as having the highest wind uplift resistance of any standing seam panel system.
