IP Seam is a mechanically seamed trapezoidal standing seam panel for low-slope industrial roofs and pre-engineered metal buildings, with 24 inches of net coverage, a 3 inch high seam and factory-applied mastic in the sidelap; a snap-locked version is sold as IP Snap 3. The specification sheet prints 24 and 22 gauge Grade 50 Galvalume AZ-50 steel, a 1/2:12 minimum roof slope, panel lengths from 6 to 47 feet, Hail Resistance UL2218, Class 4, Fire Resistance UL790, Class A, wind uplift to UL90 and ASTM E1592, and Factory Mutual FM Class 1-90 Tested and Approved. Fabral provides a 30-year paint-finish warranty, weathertightness warranties of up to 20 years, and states that 35-year material and weathertightness warranties can be ordered.
