4" Rib is a heavy-duty exposed-fastener structural ribbed metal panel for industrial roofing and siding, with 1 inch high ribs at 4 inches on center, and Fabral lists an 8" Rib option. The product page prints 32 inch coverage in 22, 20 and 18 gauge steel, 44 inch coverage in unpainted aluminum and 36 inch coverage in painted aluminum, with panel lengths from 6 to 45 feet. The technical specification page lists galvanized G90 steel to ASTM A653, aluminum-zinc AZ50 steel to ASTM A792 and 3004-H36 aluminum to ASTM B209, sets a 2 1/2:12 minimum recommended pitch for steel panels, and states that aluminum 4" Rib panels are not recommended on roofs. Its guide specification calls for a 20 year paint-finish warranty from the panel manufacturer.
