Fluorostar is a water-based, single-component, thin-film PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) roof topcoat made with Arkema's Kynar Aquatec resin, offered in standard and custom colors for long-term colorfastness and dirt resistance on commercial roofs. Its technical data sheet describes it as a high-gloss, flexible PVDF coating for spray application over surfaces including painted metal, PVC and sealed cementitious surfaces, and reports 1000 psi tensile strength and 300 percent elongation (ASTM D-2370) and a calculated SRI of 110. The product page says it may be applied by spray, brush or roller, while the data sheet describes it as a coating for spray application.
