TPO Base Coat is a one-component, solvent-based rubber base coat for waterproofing and reinforcing single-ply and other low-slope roofs, listed for TPO, Hypalon, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofs and urethane foam. The maker states it must be top coated for long-term ultraviolet exposure. The data sheet lists a light yellow color, coverage of 65-100 sq ft per gallon, solids of 50% by weight, elongation of 500% and tensile strength of 1520 psi (ASTM D412). It is applied by brush, roller or airless spray.
