MetalMan HT is a self-adhered high-temperature roof underlayment made of an SBS-modified bitumen blend with a woven polyethylene top facer, intended for use under metal roofs where surface temperatures reach up to 240 degrees F. The info sheet lists a 40 mil nominal thickness in 36 inch by 67 foot rolls (about 200 square feet), and Englert's roofing catalog also lists a 60 mil version. It cites ASTM D1970 and ASTM D903 test values, Miami-Dade NOA 08-0225.10 and Florida product approval FL11351.1, and states the membrane may be left exposed for up to 90 days. Englert's Series 1300/1301 sheet recommends it for slopes of 3:12 and under.
