Insulthane 300R is a closed-cell, two-component rigid polyurethane spray foam designed as a roofing system that forms a seamless, watertight barrier when combined with an elastomeric roof coating, for new and retrofit roofing, tanks and exterior vertical work. The technical data sheet lists a core density of 3.04 lb/ft3 (ASTM D1622), an aged R-value of 6.93 at 1 inch (ASTM C518), 53 psi compressive strength (ASTM D1621), 65 psi tensile strength (ASTM D1623) and over 90% closed-cell content (ASTM D2856), applied in passes of 0.5 to 1.5 inches and coated within 24 hours. It is supplied in 55 gallon drums. UL Evaluation Report ER27036-01 covers its use in Class A roof covering systems tested to UL 790, as listed in UL Product iQ under TGFU.R27036, and its compliance with ICC-ES AC377.
